At BetLion, we understand how frustrating it can be when a match is postponed, cancelled, or abandoned. Here’s how we handle these situations to keep things fair for all players.
If an event is rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start time:
Your bet will remain active and be settled based on the result of the rescheduled match.
If the event is not rescheduled within 48 hours:
The affected selection will usually be voided, and your stake will be refunded.
If a match is cancelled or abandoned and does not resume within 48 hours, your bet will be:
Voided for that particular selection
The rest of your bet will still stand if it’s part of a multiple or accumulator
Example:
If you placed a 3-leg Acca and one match is cancelled:
That match becomes void
The bet continues as a 2-leg Acca
Some sports (like tennis or cricket) may have different rules depending on the tournament or governing body.
Special markets (like "First Goal" or "Half Time Score") may still be settled if the relevant part of the match was completed before abandonment.
Go to "My Bets" in your BetLion account
Click on the bet to view its updated status
If any part is voided, it will show “Void” next to the selection
If you're unsure about how your bet was settled after a postponed or cancelled match, reach out to us at helpke@betlion.com and we'll review it for you.
